Breaking news… In the 2023 CEV European Championship final, the National Women’s Volleyball Team defeated Serbia 3-2, becoming champions for the first time in their history.

In the historic match played at Paleis 12 Hall in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, the Crescent-Stars faced off against Serbia, the last World Champions.

After making a spectacular comeback against Italy in the semi-finals, the ‘Queens of the Net’ defeated Serbia in the deciding set, becoming European champions. The Nationals won all 9 matches they played in the tournament, reaching a happy ending.

Erdoğan congratulated the National Women’s Volleyball Team

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated the National Women’s Volleyball Team, who became champions by defeating Serbia 3-2 in the 2023 CEV European Championship final.

In a post on his social media account, President Erdoğan said, “I wholeheartedly congratulate our National Women’s Volleyball Team, the ‘Queens of the Net’, who have brought us great pride by becoming the 2023 CEV European Champions.”

In Erdoğan’s post, he also included Turkish flag and volleyball emojis.
